Meet “Kalie” Koe

This sweet kitty needed a home.  I’ve had her for a year and a half now.  Not sure how old she is,  just know she was quiet young when I got her.

 

Let's me know when she wants outside and back in. No litter

box required.

Pampering Petunias

 

Well, it's too HOT here in the south for me to be doing any flower gardening, so I'll just go with

the hanging pots on my front porch. I know petunias love HOT weather, along with plenty of water.

 

When I purchased these back in May, they were less than half this size. Sunshine, fertilizer, and as

I said, plenty of water and they are very easy to grow. A very low maintenance flower.

 

I was reading an article about these wave petunias and I didn't know that you don't have to pinch them back as the regular ones. Although, I have been doing it all summer and sure I will continue.

 

 

 

Up to 3 feet so far.... :)

Happy July 4th to y'all!  It's been almost a nonstop rain here since last night. Over three inches
and may get up to six over the next three days, so they say. Definitely, a real frog strangler. But, all is good, God has blessed us with another day! :) 

                                                                                  

God bless to all which are serving our country and to those who have served. A simple thank you just doesn't seem to be
enough. I'll say a prayer for you and your families both past and present. May God shine upon you
in all your glory.

Happy Daddy's Day

 

 

Father, Dad, Pop, Pa.....naw (as we say in the south) I just call
him "Daddy". When I think of the word Father, I think of our "Heavenly Father" And "Dad", nope, doesn't fit his personality. lol...

I was very blessed growing up in a home having a daddy to look up
to. I was taught by a man that not only loved his family, but also
God, which he continues to do and is an Elder in our
country church in which we grew up.

Just a simple day going to his favorite fishin' hole, or whatever
the season to hunt, with gun or bow, always awaiting to go.   
                                                                        



Thanks for always being there for me, literally holding me up through the sadness of loss, when I know it was hard for you to stand on your own. The Lord was holding us both during those times.


Although at times, we didn't always agree,(still don't)lol.. but I knew not to talk back, cause over your knee I would be!
