National Nurses Week

I would like to give a big shout out to all my nursing friends. Thank y'all for your dedication
and that special caring each of you have in that big ol heart of yours. I, along with you, love
nursing. We go to work, not knowing, what kind of day our patients will be having. We pray,
not only for them, but their families as well. Any kind words, a hug for all, and letting them
know they will be treated beyond measure, not only brings a smile to their faces, but a bigger
one to ours. Knowing we have done our jobs, to the best of our ability, the rest is in God's hands, and God is good, all the time.

The reason we celebrate

Born on May 12, 1820, to an upper-class English family, Florence Nightingale is widely considered the founder of modern nursing.

Florence Nightingale, a nurse, spent her night rounds giving personal care to the wounded, establishing her image as the 'Lady with the Lamp.'

Thank you Lord for guiding my path in helping others.
